Me: Who made this poopy?
Brig: A goblin do it.
Me: A goblin? How did a goblin get poopy inside of Zipper?
Brig: With a ladder.
Me: <speechless>
Brig: It was a snowball, a muddy snowball.
Me: That's what poop is, a muddy snowball?
Brig: Yup

Speechless indeed - because it's so bizarre, you can't make this stuff up - and you're not sure how your kids come up with it, either. But writing about it beats having a goblin use a ladder to do his (or your) business :)
